Description
Stormy Sunset over Morris Island Lighthouse
Amidst the night's embrace, a lonely shore,
Where waves and winds conspire to roar,
Stands a sentinel tall, steadfast and bright,
A lighthouse, a beacon, guiding through the night.
Its light, a star born from earthly hands,
Sweeps o'er the sea, across distant lands,
A vigilant guardian of sailors at sea,
Warning of rocky shores where dangers might be.
A dance of luminescence, a celestial waltz,
A radiant rhythm that never falters or halts,
It paints tales of seafarers in nights of old,
Guiding them safely, with stories untold.
In darkest hours when tempests rage,
And mariners battle the ocean's stage,
The lighthouse stands firm, a symbol of hope,
A lifeline to safety, a way to elope.
Its beacon speaks silently, without words,
A language of light, as ancient as birds,
It whispers of shallows, of hidden reefs,
It's a symphony of caution, a melody that's brief.
Oh, mariners heed this luminous guide,
As you navigate waters, let it be your pride,
For in its warm glow, a promise is clear,
That perilous waters need not inspire fear.
So sail on, brave sailors, with the lighthouse's grace,
Let its light be your compass, your steady embrace,
In the night's tender arms, let it be your sight,
A guardian of safety, guiding you aright.
